Information resource title:
The tendency for the change of the chemical composition of the surface waters upstream the river Iskar has been researched for the period 2000-2002 regarding the following indicators: active reaction, sulfate, nitrate and bicarbonate ions and electric conductivity, in comparison with the period 1990-1994.

    Brief description of content:
The upper part of the Iskar river catchment is under investigation including Tcherni Iskar river, Beli Iskar River and Iskar river - to Samokov Town.
The Chemical status of the surface water is investigated according to pH, SO42-, N-NO3-, Cl-, HCO3, and conductivity. As a result of some investigations during 2000-2002, a tendency of basic pollution change for the above mentioned rivers is pointed. A comparison with the data for the 1990-1994 is made.
