Aims of the declaration:
1. Preservation of a natural waterfall in the land of the village of Bela, Dimovo municipality, Vidin district, representing a remarkable object of inanimate nature with exceptional value due to its inherent rarity and aesthetics.
Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited longitudinal and transverse adjustment of the river course and its banks (construction of dikes, retaining walls, barrages, weirs and thresholds) with the exception of the implementation of measures to prevent and limit damage caused by floods, carried out in accordance with flood risk management plans;
2. It is prohibited carrying out felling of natural woody vegetation of local species, with the exception of the removal of fallen or broken trees in the watercourse and/or in the event of a flood threat that may pose a risk to human life and health or cause material damage, as well as in the event of natural disasters, accidents and the need for maintenance of facilities;
3. It is prohibited removal of sediment, river gravel and sand - ballast (inert materials), removal of stones and rocks, with the exception of measures to ensure the conductivity of river beds due to accumulated sediment deposits that create a risk of flooding;
4. It is prohibited search, exploration and extraction of underground resources under the Underground Resources Act;
5. It is prohibited pollution, temporary storage and disposal of household, construction and other types of waste, including the alteration or pollution of the watercourse of the Belshtitsa River;
6. It is prohibited new construction, excluding repair, maintenance and expansion activities of the adjacent existing road infrastructure.
