Document of registration to specimens of any species included in the Appendices to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES)
Brief description of content:
All specimens of any species referred to in Items 1 and 2 of Article 70 of the Low on Biological Diversity , with the exception of food products derived therefrom and of the species constituting a subject matter of the Hunting and Gamekeeping Act, shall be subject to registration.
For the purpose of registration, within fifteen days after acquisition of the specimen, the owner shall submit an application to the regional inspectorate of environment and water, stating therein: name and Standard Public Registry Personal Number, applicable to natural persons, and designation, registered office and BULSTAT Code, applicable to juristic persons; particulars of the species: type and status (living, dead, part of a specimen or derivative); address of the place where the specimen shall be housed and cared for: applicable to acquisition of a live specimen; manner of acquisition: imported, purchased, exchanged, donated, born in captivity, found. The following shall be attached to any application referred to: an original document of registration, issued by the regional inspectorate of environment and water: applicable to purchase of a specimen previously registered; a document of origin; manner of marking of the specimen;. an original permit or another document certifying the capture or killing of the specimen in the wild, as prescribed by a regulatory act and proving the lawfulness of acquisition of the specimen.
