National Environment Monitoring System, Functional subsystem “Control and soil protection against heavy metal and metalloids pollution”

Brief description of content:
The information is compiled in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act. The database contains the results from the measuring of the content of heavy metals in the soil of 33 monitoring points, selected according to the source of pollution: industry (emission source points), use of chemicals (preparations for plant protection), irrigation and automobile transport.
Measured indicators: Heavy metals - pH, Zn, Cu, Pb, As, Cd
Units: мg/ kg dry wеight soil

Organization of data collecting:
The sampling and analyze are performed by Analytical Laboratory.
The organization, coordination, quality control and assessment are performed by EEA.
