Brief description of content:
The database includes primary information on Air quality control in the region of Varna and Dobrich - maximum single concentrations (1h or 30 min) of the controlled pollutants. With an additional statistical development the primary information is reduced to daily, monthly and annually concentrations used for assessment of air quality . The concentrations of the following pollutants are analyzed: dust, PM10, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon oxide, hydrogen sulphide, ozone, ammonia, chlorine and hydrogen chloride, sulphuric acid aerosols, heavy metals, methane and non-methan carbohydrates.The concentrations of sulphuric dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, PM10, ozone and lead aerosols are in µg/m3, according to the national regulations 8 and 9. The other concentrations are in mg/m3 according to the national regulation 14. Measurement's data of air quality goes to the database of RIEW – Varna / Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water– Varna / via telex, telephone-radio connectionon, paper or on disc (manually filled up) with a different periodicity from on-line in two working days time depending on station's type and built up communications. The RIEW-Varna with the cooperation of Regional laboratory-Varna prepares the annual station's and sampling schedule of the Mobile Imission Laboratory.The annual schedules are approved of the Мinister of the environment and water.
